Terms & Conditions

To ensure that you enjoy your function at Clear Mountain, please understand the following terms and conditions.


CONFIRMATION: A wedding reception booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of an initial deposit. Your package inclusions must be confirmed at this time. The deposit requested will be one third of the estimated total of your package chosen. Deposits are non-refundable. Management reserves the right to cancel any booking if a deposit has not been received by the due date.


PAYMENT: All function accounts are required to be settled upon receipt of final numbers and function information (6) working days prior to the event. Payments will be received by Direct Deposit, Credit Card, EFTPOS, Cash, Personal or Bank Cheque. A Cheque must be cleared by the due date of payment.


OFFICE HOURS: Reception is currently open 7.00am - 6.00pm seven days per week. You are welcome to visit and inspect Clear Mountain Hotel independently 7 days per week during office hours.


GUARANTEED NUMBERS: Package prices are based on a minimum number of guests. Confirmed numbers, all final details and payment for your function is required (6) working days prior to the event. Refunds will not be given after this time. Charges will be rendered according to the number of guests attending the function or the confirmed number - whichever is greater. A surcharge may apply on Sunday's and Public holidays.


CLOSING TIME: Your function room is hired until 11.30pm for dinner functions and 5.00pm for lunch functions.


PRICES, MENUS AND PACKAGES: Prices, menus and packages are subject to change without notice. Packages require sufficient lead in time to ensure the provision of particular inclusions. Peak seasons may attract a minimum package choice. Packages include Clear Mountain preferred suppliers only, subject to availability. Quotes will be provided on a per person basis only. Individual inclusion costs will not be disclosed.


LICENCED ESTABLISHMENT: Clear Mountain Hotel is a licensed establishment. Event organizers and their guests are strictly prohibited from bringing alcohol onto the property and into function rooms.


SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in any of our buildings but is permitted on our decks and in outdoor areas where ashtrays are provided. Please do not use our gardens as ashtrays.


CHILDREN: Under 5 years are free of charge, however are not provided with a meal or beverage. Children may be provided with a children's package for Food, Beverage and extras. Thirteen years and above are charged at adult price.


DAMAGES AND CLEANING CHARGES: Clear Mountain will not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of personal belongings left in accommodation rooms or function rooms prior to, during or after a function. Clear Mountain Hotel is not liable for damage to or loss of property, which may occur on these premises or any injury incurred through the use of the venue. The organiser's of the function will be held responsible and charged for any damages caused to the property during the course of the event by attendees. There will be an additional cleaning charge if confetti is used, spillage's on carpet occur or if there is an unreasonable amount of cleaning to be done following your function. This is at the discretion of the General Manager. Charges will also apply if soiling or damages occur in guest accommodation.


WET WEATHER: In the event that it rains on the day of your ceremony, you will be offered a conference room of our choice as an alternative to our complimentary outdoor ceremony garden.
